Frances will be part of a Woman's Heart tour in the Netherlands which is scheduled for October 2005. This Woman's Heart tour consists of Frances, Sharon Shannon and Mary Coughlan. The exact dates can be found on the concert page.

Frances in studio of Folk Collection album

Frances will be going into the studio in September to record some tracks for a new “folk collection” album, which will be released in mid-January, after which I’ll be going on a major Irish tour. One confirmed date is the Olympia Theatre in Dublin on January 29th. Tickets for this concert can already be booked via www.ticketmaster.ie. See the concert page for more concerts. Frances part of Rossport protest evening

Frances part of Rossport protest evening

Frances will play a couple of numbers in the Ambassador at the top of O'Connell Street this Sunday evening, October 2nd. It's part of a protest for the Rossport 5, men who have been jailed for protesting over the installation of a high-pressure gas pipeline through the tiny village of Rossport. The lineup also includes Christy Moore and the Saw Doctors among others.

Irish Tour 2006

Irish Tour 2006

A full Irish tour of 20 concerts has now been confirmed that will be spread out over January, February and March 2006. Frances will also be part of the Celtic Connections Festival in Glasgow that is held from 21 till 23 January 2006. A tour for the UK is also being set up, with one concert that has already been confirmed (in Manchester). All concert dates can be found on the Concert page.

New Folk Collection album

New Folk Collection album

Frances will be releasing a new album on 3 February 2006. The album will be a folk collection album and it is called This Love Will Carry. It will contain new tracks and some older tracks from her album with Kieran Goss, The Black Family albums and Frances' own albums. As indicated, it will be a collection of folk songs.
